The St. Mark's Legacy Society
When your days on this earth are over, how will you be remembered? What will your legacy be?
Leaving a Legacy of Faith and Hope
Over the past few years, several of our committed church members have ensured their legacy as individuals of both great faith and extraordinary generosity through making gifts from their estates to the St. Mark’s Foundation.
Each of these members wanted St. Mark’s to remain financially strong no matter what the economy, so they made gifts to the Foundation upon their deaths. These gifts have been a wonderful blessing to our church.
Your Lasting Legacy
One of the meaningful gifts you can create in your lifetime is including the St. Mark’s United Methodist Church Foundation in your estate plans.
Gifts of all sizes can make a difference. There is a common belief that legacy gifts come only from people of wealth. Nothing is further from the truth. A gift of any size will make a tremendous impact.
Your Legacy gift could include:
- Specific dollar amount
- Life Insurance
- Retirement Plan Assets
- Percentage of your estate
- Portion/remainder of your estate after the fulfillment of other bequests
- A combination of the above
If you have already left the St. Mark's Foundation in your estate plans, please complete and return the confidential Letter of Intent below. This will let us know how to use your planned gift, so that we may honor your wishes. We would also like to thank you and invite you to join the St. Mark's Legacy Society.
Legacy Society
The St. Mark’s Foundation Legacy Society is a group of committed church members with a passion to serve St. Mark’s today and to leave a legacy that will serve St. Mark’s in the future. Legacy members do so by designating a gift to the St. Mark’s United Methodist Foundation in their estate plan.
You may designate your gifts to areas most important to you and your gift remains confidential.
Those who have chosen to be recognized as members of the Legacy Society have done so, not for recognition, but to encourage others to give generously by leaving a legacy of their own. However, you may choose to remain anonymous.
Becoming part of this special group is an incredible gift that will endure beyond your lifetime to benefit the church you that means so much to you.
